The act of moving the magic lantern in and out of focus has inspired my exploration of the moment just before clarity is reached.
The work emerges from a blend of accidental marks, compositional elements, and textures found within the slides themselves.
My aim is to capture the intangible, the ambiguous, and the space between one moment and the next—those fleeting instances that exist just before things come into focus.
